In the event of inclement weather, we will attempt to still have practices/clinics/camps as space in the IWU Shirk Athletic Center (or any other location used) will allow. In this case, players will need to have a pair of sneakers for practices inside. In the event that the practice/clinic/camp gets cancelled, no make-up will be scheduled.
When tournaments get cancelled for the travel team, it is out of Titans Elite's control. If this is the case, there will be no make-ups scheduled and no refunds given (unless Titans Elite is notified prior to start of tournament and Titans Elite is refunded for price of tournament).
Titans Elite will not offer refunds for cancellations due to inclement weather. Titans Elite will not refund partial payments for players who do not attend all of the camps, clinics, practices, and/or tournaments. If you are unable to attend and provide adequate notice, Titans Elite will attempt to refund your payment.
US LACROSSE MEMBERSHIP
All players and coaches for all events must hold a valid US Lacrosse Membership number that is valid through the last day of all events. This number must be given prior to the start of practices. There is no exception. http://www.uslacrosse.org/membership.aspx
Titans Elite will provide hotel information for the tournaments where all players and families can stay together. No player or family is required to stay in the hotel accommodations we suggest. We attempt to choose hotels in a mid-level price range and close to the tournament, but not always are these hotels available for a large group.
Titans Elite only accepts payments through checks. For all payments (including IWU camps and clinics), please make your check payable to: Titans Elite or Zach Iannucci.
Checks may be mailed to Titans Elite: Zach Iannucci 1312 Park Street Bloomington, IL 61701
In the event Titans Elite needs to fill-in roster spots on a travel team, we reserve the right to do so at our discretion and for a rate determined based on tournament and administrative costs.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: What are the age ranges for U15, U13, U11, U9?
A: We use the Age & Eligibility Guidelines as established by US Lacrosse http://www.uslacrosse.org/rules/age-eligibility-guidelines.aspx. There is special consideration taken in certain circumstances where a player may need to play below or above his age range.
NOTE: Age group references used in this section are in common usage but should not be understood literally. The U15 (read: “Under 15”) grouping means that, if a player is 14 years old on the cutoff date, he may participate in U15 competition as a 15-year old.
Q: What equipment is needed for camps, clinics, and practices?
A: Unless otherwise stated, full equipment is needed for all camps, clinics, and practices. Unfortunately, Titans Elite does not rent out equipment. See the US Lacrosse Equipment Fitting Guide.
Q: What is Coach Iannucci's background?
A: I grew up in New Jersey. I was an All-State close defender in high school, went to St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia, played Division 1 as an lsm. I coached a high school team in New Jersey, where we won our conference for the 1st time and I lead the defense to the #6 lowest scoring defense in the state of New Jersey. After a few years of coaching high school, I pursued coaching in college lacrosse. After stops at Hendrix College and Oberlin, I was hired on the be the first head men’s lacrosse coach at Illinois Wesleyan University.
Q: How can being so closely tied with IWU help Titans Elite?
A: In 6 years, IWU men’s lacrosse is already a top #20 ranked team in the nation.
-3 straight NCAA Tournament Appearances
-Sweet 16 Appearance and two 2nd round appearances
-#1 scoring offence in the nation in D1, D2, AND, D3 3 years straight
- #5 Seed in the South Bracket in 2019 (D3 NCAA Lacrosse tournament is broken into only 2 division, North and South)
- In 2018, we set the ALL TIME records for points, goals and groundballs in a season in D1, D2 and D3
As a coach at IWU, I have a record 80-28 (.741) and in conference 23-4 and only 1 lose in the past three seasons (.852)
-2x CCIW Coach of the Year
-Coached 9 All Americans
-Coached 3 CCIW Defensive POY, 3 CCIW Newcomer of the year, 2 CCIW Offensive POY
As a Titans Elite player, you are getting coached by the same players/coaches involved in this winning program. You are getting recruiting advice/insight from an actual Top 20 winning college coach. You are getting practices ran much like an actual NCAA college lacrosse team. You are practicing with the same facilities as a college lacrosse team. There is a definite advantage to being apart of a successful college lacrosse program.
Q: How does Titans Elite help with recruiting?
A: From a recruiting standpoint, with IWU being a Top 20 D3 program, when I pick up the phone and call a coach about a player, the coach on the other line knows he's talking to a college lacrosse coach. He knows that my intentions are to develop my players, he knows the kind of program I run and the type of players I coach are going to be great young men, hard workers and players they want to have on their roster. It matters that your sons are going to be developed by a coach that in just 6 years has developed and runs a top 20 program.
